Behavioral Health Workforce Center

The HPC Behavioral Health Workforce Center (BHWC) was formed in partnership with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) to conduct research and make data-informed policy recommendations to strengthen the behavioral health workforce in Massachusetts.

Maternal Health Task Force

The Massachusetts Maternal Health Access and Birthing Patient Safety Task Force (MHTF) is co-chaired by the HPC and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to study and report on maternal health access and patient safety trends in Massachusetts, and to improve care for all birthing people across the Commonwealth.

Primary Care Task Force

The Massachusetts Primary Care Access, Delivery, and Payment Task Force (PCTF) is co-chaired by the HPC and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) to develop a series of recommendations to stabilize and strengthen the primary care system across Massachusetts.

Office of Health Resource Planning

The Office of Health Resource Planning (OHRP) was established to develop a state health resource plan to identify existing resources and the anticipated health care needs of the Commonwealth and offer recommendations for future needs of the Commonwealth.

The Office of Patient Protection (OPP) works effectively to safeguard health care consumer protections in the Commonwealth. OPP strives to address each inquiry, waiver, and external review in a fair and consistent manner.

Office of Pharmaceutical Policy and Analysis

The Office of Pharmaceutical Policy and Analysis (OPPA) was established to analyze pharmaceutical spending data, produce reports and analyses of trends, and advise the Commonwealth on matters related to pharmaceutical drug policy.
