Health Policy Commission Executive Director David Seltz: Statement on Health Care Affordability Working Group Recommendations to Lower Health Care Costs

BOSTON  “It is imperative for Massachusetts to take the lead in safeguarding health care affordability and access – and the Governor’s Health Care Affordability Working Group has provided an actionable roadmap for the Commonwealth to do this. The recommendations on primary care investment, innovative care delivery models, and curbing high out-of-network prices, directly align with the policy recommendations and mission of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission.

“The HPC is proud to support the critical work outlined by the Health Care Affordability Working Group’s recommendations and to continue working with the Healey-Driscoll Administration and our partners across Massachusetts to advance a health care system that is affordable, equitable, and accessible to all residents.”
